Third sector needs to address quality system issues
I have recently run a discussion on linkedin on the subject of quality systems and third sector organisations (TSOs).
Opinion is divided. Many TSOs are happy to go along with PQCASSO, mainly because commissioners are happy
but this is denying that there could be a competitive edge for organisations gaining certification under ISO 9001.
Also ISO offers a quality management system that can improve the quality of services provided by
sub-contractors and consortium members, t say nothing of the potential to transform the experience of your customers and service users. However, many still find the process and the cost to be prohibitive.
